    Itinerary Overview – 4-Day Jungle Walking Safari

   Day 1: Sauraha → Kasara

  • Start: After breakfast (around 7:00 AM)

  • Guided walking safari through the forest and buffer zone

  • Wildlife tracking and birdwatching along the way

  • Packed lunch in the jungle

  • Reach Kasara, the park’s headquarters area

  • Overnight stay in a small cottage/lodge near the park boundary

   Day 2: Kasara → Madi

  • Depart 7:00 AM after breakfast

  • Full-day guided jungle walk deeper into the southern belt of the park

  • Lunch break in the forest with water/rest stops

  • Arrive at Madi village, a peaceful indigenous community

  • Overnight stay at local homestay – cultural immersion, traditional food

🌿 Day 3: Madi → Ghatgai

  • Continue walking west through riverine forest and grasslands

  • High chance to see rhinos, deer, crocodiles, wild boars, and birdlife

  • Jungle picnic lunch on the way

  • Arrive in Ghatgai, another quiet forest-side settlement
